Math riddle #3 उम्र, (Age)
मोहन की तीन बेटियां है, वह अपने नए पड़ोसी आराम से मिलता है और पड़ोसी जो कि बहुत बुद्धिमान है उस पड़ोसी से पूछता है कि तुम्हारी बेटियों की क्या उम्र है?
मोहन बताता है कि अगर तीनों के उम्र को गुनाह कर दिया जाए तो 36 आता है.....
RAM फिर भी उनकी उम्र नहीं निकाल पाता और कोई संकेत देने को कहता है अब के मोहन बोलता है कि अगर तीनों के उम्र को जोड़ दिया जाए तो वह मेरे मकान के नंबर जितना हो जाता है....
राम को उसके मकान का नंबर पता है फिर भी वो उनका उम्र नही निकाल पता और कोई और संकेत देने को कहता हैं - अबकी मोहन बोलता है की मेरी सबसे छोटी बेटी की आँखे नीली हैं , ऐसा सुनते ही राम उनका उम्र समझ जाता है और सही सही उम्र बता देता हैं, कैसे ?

पहले ये देखते हैं की उनकी बेटियाँ किस किस उम्र की हो सकती हैं , जिनको गुणा करने पर 36 आए -
1,1,36 - इनका जोड़ होगा - 38
1,3,12 - इनका जोड़ होगा - 16
1,4,9 - इनका जोड़ होगा - 14
1,2,18 - इनका जोड़ होगा - 21
1,6,6 - इनका जोड़ होगा - 13
2,2,9 - इनका जोड़ होगा - 13
3,3,4 - इनका जोड़ होगा - 10
अब चूँकि राम को मोहन का मकान नंबर पता है, वो आसानी से बता सकता है की उनकी उम्र क्या क्या है, बशर्ते उनका मकान नंबर 13 ना हुवा तो . क्यूकी 13 होने पर 2 संभावनाए बनती हैं 1,6,6 और 2,2,9. चूँकि राम उनकी उम्र नहीं बता पाया, उनकी उम्र ज़रूर इन दोनो सेट में से ही एक है.
ध्यान से देखे तो आप पाएँगे की दोनो संभव सेटों में जुड़वा बहने हैं , एक में बड़ी दोनो बहने जुड़वा है (1,6,6) और एक में छोटी दोनो जुड़वा हैं (2,2,9).
जैसे ही मोहन बताता है की सबसे छोटी बेटी की आँखे नीली हैं , ये सिद्ध होता है की तीनों में एक बहन ऐसी है जो सबसे छोटी है, इस प्रकार (2,2,9) की सम्भावना नही रह गयी क्यूकी उसमे दो बेटियों की उम्र एक समान हैं.
इसलिए सही उत्तर - (1,6,6) हैं.

Now since Ram knows Mohan's house number, he can easily tell what his age is, provided his house number is not 13. There are 2 possibilities 1,6,6 and 2,2,9 if qqi is 13. Since Ram could not tell his age, his age is definitely one of these two sets.
If you look carefully, you will find that there are twins in both possible sets, one has large flowing twins (1,6,6) and one has smaller twins (2,2,9).
As soon as Mohan tells that the eyes of the youngest daughter are blue, it proves that there is a sister among the three who is the youngest, thus there is no possibility of (2,2,9) because the age of two daughters in it are alike.
Hence the correct answer is - (1,6,6).

अगर आप रामपुर से सीतापुर कार चला कर जा रहे हो.
कार का नंबर AP 12 B 1209 हो.
अगर कार की रफ़्तार 60 km प्रति घंटे हो और रामपुर से सीतापुर की दूरी 120 km हो.
कार दोपहर 12:09 बजे पर शुरू हो 2:09 बजे सीतापुर पहुचती है तो ये बताये की ड्राईवर का जन्मदिन कब है?

आप नदी के पास हैं और आपके पास एक 5 लीटर का और एक 3 लीटर का नापने का डिब्बा है. अगर आपको 1 लीटर पानी नापना हो तो कैसे नापेंगे ?

पहले 3 लीटर के डब्बे में पानी भर ले, अब 3 लीटर को 5 लीटर के डब्बे में पलट दे , फिर से 3 लीटर का डब्बा भर दे , वापस उसे 5 लीटर में पलटना शुरू करे. चूँकि पहले से उसमे 3 लीटर पानी हैं - उसमे सिर्फ 2 लीटर पानी (5-3=2) ही डाला जा सकता हैं . 2 लीटर निकलने के बाद अब 3 लीटर के डब्बे में 1 लीटर पानी बचा .
First fill the 3 liter box with water, now turn the 3 liter into a 5 liter box, again fill the 3 liter box, start turning it back into 5 liters. Since it already has 3 liters of water - only 2 liters of water (5-3 = 2) can be poured into it. After leaving 2 liters, now 1 liter water is left in the 3 liter box.
