उपर दी गयी पहेलियों के उत्तर (Answers to the above riddles)
(1) Answer :- 12
Explanation :-
Instead of finding the difference in the numbers,
try adding the digits of the numbers.
For eg. 7+2(72) + 9+9(99) is 9 + 18 = 27.
So the answer comes to,
2+1(21) + 3+6(36) = 3+9 = 12.
(2) Answer :- $1.05.
Since the total cost is $1.10
The cost of Nail is $0.05
and the hammer costs $1.05.
(3) Answer :- 7
Explanation :-
From 1, we get that A = 1
Now using A=1 in 2, we get B = 2
Now using B=2 in 3, we get C = 3
Therefore,
A+BxC = 1+2x3 = 1+6 = 7 (multiply first, bodmas rule)
(4) Answer :- 198
Explanation :-
From eq 2, we get,
Tea = 10
From eq 3, we get,
Bread(3qty) = 6, so 1 Bread = 2
So eq 1, we get,
Boy(with 3bread+tea) = 25
So Boy = 9, Tea = 10 and 1 Bread = 2
Now solving for the answer,
4 Bread + Boy with tea x Tea =
4(2) + 19 x 10 = 8 + 190 = 198 (using bodmas)
So the answer is 198
(5) Answer :- 15 minutes.
First start both the hourglasses
but dont start counting time of 15min.
Now when the 7min hourglass finishes,
start counting time.
So now you will have 4 minutes left in 11 min hourglass.
After this 4min are over flip the hourglass and let it run its full 11mins
So you will get 4 + 11 = 15 minutes.
